My Name is Nadine Patrice I  own Palatino Jamaican Restaurant in Wynwood, Miami. It all started about 7 years ago when I was going through difficult times and one of my sister's came to me and ask me if would be interested in a restaurant. One of her clients had one that is closed and available. I thought about it and since my husband is a good Chef I decided to give it a try. So I started my new Journey with renewed hope. I was so thankful and grateful that God was giving me a second chance. We really poured our heart and soul into building this business. My Sister helped us with the setting up costs to get us going. I put all our information on yelp and google to make sure people would find us but the best advertising was word of mouth. Help us continue with this amazing place that we created...a home feel place...a place where we spread love through food and good-vibes. Please help if can and share the link with others. Help us meet this challenge, I would be eternally grateful.

UPDATE...December 19th 2019, it's a challenge. Please donate what you can and SHARE the link with others. If you are in the Miami, Wynwood area stop in for a meal and get a feel of the place we created, we need your support .TIME is speeding. I have faith and trust that we can. God is Good.

We grew pretty fast and had great reviews on yelp . As I said word of mouth is the best.  We not only became a local hot spot but started to get a lot of tourists stopping in to enjoy our awesome dishes full of authentic Caribbean flavors. We have customers from out of town who have been coming very early on when we opened.  Sometimes once they land in Miami we are the 1st spot they stop at with  their luggage before even going to the hotel. I suppose it is because they love and remember our food and the experience.

As with most businesses who did not start with lots of money for cushion, once we started growing we experienced  "growing pains",  I tried several avenues to get the necessary funds to keep going and was not successful. I have been praying for help for a while and recently  Gofundme kept coming  to my mind.

Our place is not only about good food. it  is a place were you can come in for a nice meal and feel at home,  it's about community.  As a matter of fact many customers say it to us " I feel right at home". Even when customers order to go, they love the good energy and vibration so much that they stay a while.  We also provide our walls to local artists to showcase their work. Our place is about Love.

So today I am asking your assistance, I need your help to continue this mission that I poured my heart and soul into for almost 7 years with all my love.  Because we did not get the necessary loan to grow, we are behind on our expenses. The funds would be use to catch up with what we owe, giving us a lifeline. We are in need of a few equipment such as a better Stove/oven and a steamed table.  Also need to hire a few helpers.  We would hire from the community and train them.

We currently have online orders with ubereats, grubhub and Postmates. we are open Tuesdays-Sundays. We have an instagram page with almost 3,000 followers "Palatino Jamaican Restaurant". (3830 to be exact)  I am running out of time to get the funds needed to keep going, I hope you will read our story, checked out our instagram page and find it in your heart to help. I would be eternally grateful. Please share the information with others as well if you cannot donate yourself.

Peace and Blessings,
Nadine Patrice
