<div>We are Local Legacy Inc. We are a NYS recognized non profit organization that seeks to raise funds for use in the community by groups, clubs, sports teams, and individuals.

<div>A organization, club or individual would apply for help and be vetted to make sure they are in need. Once that is completed, the organization will procure what the group or individual need. We never hand over money directly. If a team needs equipment, we would purchase it directly as a non profit organization.

<div>If a parent is trying to send their child to a team event that they can't afford, we will try to take care of certain expenses such as lodging.

<div>If a club in a school needs supplies, our organization would purchase it for them.

</div>
<div>This started when my children's clubs and teams were always underfunded and were constantly selling popcorn, cookies, etc. I realized that it is easier to gain the support of the community through various fundraising platforms than to put all the responsibility on the family.
