On 18 November my beautiful grandson Noah was born. Noah is the son of my daughter Jessica and son-in-law Dominic and brother to my granddaughter Rita.
Unfortunately, since Noah’s arrival he has been in ICU needing assistance with breathing and eating. It became clear that there was something going on for Noah and after spending the first 3 weeks of his life undergoing multiple tests Noah received a heart-breaking diagnosis.
Noah has been diagnosed with GM1 Gangliosidosis, which is a rare genetic condition with no current treatment or cure.
The doctors and nurses are doing everything possible to make things comfortable for him so he can come home and meet the family.
As many of you would know Jess and Dom would never ask for help themselves so I am setting up this Go Fund Me page to support the family during this time to be with Noah, to help make Noah's life memorable in every beautiful way, to increase awareness for the GM1 condition.
