Haley's Medical Needs

On June 8th Haley went to the doctor for shortness of breath she's been experiencing for quite some time. They did an x-ray and CT scan and found fluid in her lungs as well as some other concerns. After running tests, they found that she had only been using 42% of her lung capacity.
Haley had surgery on June 14th where they removed the fluid from her lungs and took some lung tissue to run tests and find out what's causing the fluid. After doing a biopsy of the lung tissue, it has been determined that Haley has a rare lung disease called LAM. Many have been asking about ways they can help Haley and Tim. Helping finacially would significanly serve them as they are now facing ongoing medical costs. Haley will be taking time off work for an indefinite amount of time to be able to focus on recovering from surgery and getting the treatment she needs. They will also be moving to Madison as soon as possible where she will be receiving specialized care from LAM specialists at University Hospital.
