Sasha, one of my best friends, was on a vacation in Japan with her boyfriend, Louis, for what was supposed to be a week. One day she had an accident where she slipped and fell backwards, hitting her head on sidewalk. Then she woke up in the hospital a few days later.
When she hit her head it caused acute Epidural hematoma. She had to undergo surgery to have this corrected and needed to stay in Japan to recover. She needed to be cleared by doctors to fly home at the end of November. Louis extended his stay to take care of Sasha and her parents flew to Japan to help take care of her.
Sasha is now back home in the US. She had to stay in Japan until about the end of November and is not cleared to return to work until early January.
We have started this GoFundMe to help Sasha cover the expenses of this incident.
These expenses include:
-her out-of-pocket expenses of this surgery
-some of the rent she needs for the time she is unable to work
-some of the extra expenses incurred with the extended trip
