Ozzy needs eye surgery #woof

Almost 3 weeks ago Ozzy and I went for our usual afternoon walk and 2 hours later he started bumping into things. It was then I looked into his eyes as I had done most days that week due to extra gunk and I cried to see that literally in 24 hours he had opal coloured cataracts on his pupils. 
Ozzy is 8, he has travelled this country and me and him have had a rough couple of years. After much hurt and pain and then focus and motivation I am almost at the end of a Law degree. Ozzy and my parents have been my constant unconditional support. 
It really pains me to ask for help but he has one good eye that can be operated on. On top of that the blindness was a consequence of diabetes and over night blindness is sadly quite common. 
I must swallow my pride and all im asking is for help until I finish my degree which will be the end of next year. He has ongoing insulin and blood glucose every 10 days which is $115 ( a year is $2990). His surgery and after care could be up to almost $4000. 
I am a hard worker and after the new year I will be going back to work as a chef or barrister but even that and the austudy I get ( which they unhelpfully cut off again right before christmas) as well as running my small business this is really going to stretch me.

As I said im humbled to ask but  please please please can you help my boy so he can have a chance to see again at least in his one eye.
