Nicholas's Cincinnati Childrens Hos

My name is Shanna Smotherman and I have set up this GO FUND ME page for my nephew Nicholas Smotherman.  We need to raise money for a trip to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. Here is Nicholas’s health issues just this past month:

As some of you know Nicholas’s health issues started at 2 days old and he has had a number of health issues, but he always has his infectious smile. Most recently he was in children's hospital because his temp was VERY dangerous because of his central line! Right away the put him on IV antibiotics and ice packs to bring the temp down. Turns out he had a very serious blood infection (again). He was having lots and lots of problems going to the bathroom and stomach pain. They did blood draws the liver tests came back high so they did a ultrasound thinking it was his gallbladder, but come to find out Nicholas now has liver disease from the TPN (his food). The TPN is how Nicholas gets his nutrition since he cannot eat because his intestines don’t work. He is going to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati to undergo a number of tests to see what can be done with his intestines, so he can hopefully get off the TPN. We appreciate any and all help and prayers.
