Oxfordshire Badger Group is raising funds for an exciting new venture: to vaccinate Oxfordshire's Badgers.
UPDATE - Oxfordshire Badger Group is now racing ahead with our vaccination project.
Through the fantastic efforts of our fundraising team and volunteers together with your donations through this site and privately, we have now raised just under £7,500.
We now have a target of raising a further £2500 before the vaccination season starts in May 2020 to ensure we have enough vaccine and peanuts for all the badgers!

Working with local farmers, we will be humanely trapping badgers overnight, vaccinating and releasing, under licence.
The first part of our vaccination project will last four years and will be totally undertaken by unpaid volunteers who are giving up their time to protect Oxfordshire's badgers.
OBG is a voluntary ‘not for profit’ group formed in 1988. We work to protect badgers in Oxfordshire by:
Increasing public awareness
Advising on badger problems
Protecting badgers and setts
Rescuing injured badgers
And now... Vaccinating!

Thank you so much to the wonderful people who have already donated. Together with other fundraising and donations we have already raised nearly half of the £5000 needed by May 2019 to kick start this project.
The more money we raise, the more badgers we can vaccinate
Each £ donated will help Oxfordshire's badgers.
What your ££££'s will buy;
£5 - PPE equipment (gloves and mask)
£10 - Box of syringes
£10 - Peanuts for one sett - we estimate over the 4 years we will get through £1200 worth of peanuts
£35 - One dose of vaccine - we estimate we will use around 60 doses per year
£35 - 25kg sack of peanuts
