Owl Taxidermy for Science Class

My mom and I found this beautiful bard owl on the side of the road. We are unsure the cause of death, but we couldn’t believe how amazing it was to see up close. I mentioned to my mom how cool it would be to get it stuffed so I could bring it to school and show my students. We had just been dissecting owl pellets and I thought my students would love it. After some research we found it was illegal to get it stuffed. We were bummed but understood why. My mom decided to contact the DNR and ask if we could keep it for my science students. We have received great news, they are giving me permission to keep the owl! After looking up prices to go to a taxidermist, it costs a larger chunk of money than I expected. I was hoping I could raise the money to get it stuffed, so that I am able to show this beautiful creature to my students. If you are able to help, I’d appreciate it so much.
