I don’t know what to say about myself other than I have had serious medical issues for the last two years. On 11/13, I was on the way to a doctor appointment and was in a serious car accident. Our car was totaled, and I broke my shoulder and suffered a severe concussion along with other injuries. I was starting to finally feel better and saw an end to the problems I had been dealing with, but now I’m dealing with the injuries from the accident and the issues I have had with my health.

I have had multiple amputations from the previous health problems that I have been dealing with, and now I’m dealing with the new issues. We have so many medical bills, and things have been so hard, but we were making it through this. However, now we are without a car, and my husband works over two hours away. The insurance company is basically just paying off the balance we owed on our car and nothing further. The bills are just adding up, and now we are not making it.

I was not at fault for the accident, but even though I wasn’t, Utah is a no-fault state, so all of the medical bills are having to be paid by us. We couldn’t afford the additional expenses, and we don’t have the money for another car, and I don’t know what else to do other than ask for help like this.

I broke my left shoulder, and I am left-handed, so I can’t do much of anything at all. Plus, I’m still dealing with the other issues that I have. We just need help; any help is appreciated. I’ve never felt so helpless, and I have always been able to help my family until now. I’m dictating this message because I cannot type. But I hope you can understand it, and I truly thank you for anything I can get to help us get through this.
