Direct Relief for Overstreet, FL

My brothers and I are conducting a targeted disaster relief mission to benefit the Overstreet community which was severely impacted by the devastating forces of hurricane Michael. Overstreet is located between Mexico Beach and Wewahitchka on the intracoastal waterway. It's a community about five miles off the beach with many people who were unable to evacuate who are now in crisis. We invite you to help us help them by donating to this campaign.

My mother evacuated but now needs to get back to secure and assess damage to her home, and help her community. We are escorting her back tomorrow 10/14/18, and plan to take in and deliver as much relief equipment and materials as we can carry. We will steward your donations to provide efficient direct material relief to people in need in the Overstreet community at large (not to my mother, we have her covered already).

Addendum: Gofundme requests additional specific information for campaigns related to this disaster. Here’s ours:

1. Who you are and where you’re from: I am Noah Steed, of Bowdon, GA - working along with my brothers and our wives.
2. Your relationship or contact to the parties you're raising funds for: Our mother lives in “Overstreet” which is a small community near Mexico Beach, FL centered around the Overstreet bridge over the intracoastal waterway on Gulf County Road 386. The campaign is to raise funds to buy materials and supplies for this community in the wake of the disaster.
3. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible):
Walmart list 328 items ($1702.13)
Lowe’s list ($186.13)
Gasoline in cans ($220)
Gas for travel ($34.86)
4700 watt dual fuel generator ($450)
7200 watt generator ($900)
1200 watt generator ($379)
2000 watt generator ($802.43)
Ryobi 16” gas chainsaw ($140)
30 pounds propane with 2 bottles ($100)
Propane camping burner/heater ($30)
Home Depot ($460)
Meals ($43)
Tractor supply ($62.05)
* This list is missing some more things we bought - like another 40 gallons of fuel and cans, but this is a list of what receipts I have with me 10/18/18.

4. Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary/ies:
The money raised plus some more is already spent and has been used to buy equipment, materials and supplies for these people. Some of it has been distributed through a relief depot set up by the church in the community. The rest has been delivered directly to various families and individuals in need within the community by my mother, my brothers or myself. The withdrawal of the gofundme campaign funds will be by me, as the organizer, and will reimburse the majority of the total cost of the relief mission.
