Arc of Blair County Beach Trip


Aaaaahhh, the sound of seagulls. The waves lapping up onto the sand. The taste of salt air that hangs in the mist. The sense of peace that the beach brings. We are heading to Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Arc of Blair County is taking its members on an overnight trip to the Beach on October 23rd.

The Arc of Blair County believes that persons with developmental disabilities are valuable members of society and have the same rights as all citizens.

Our members are really looking forward to this fun trip and we need you help to make this happen. Whatever you can donate is greatly appreciated! 

You might be asking yourself “Why can’t The Arc afford to do this and pay for the whole thing?” At the Arc of Blair County we operate on community donations to exist and we do not have a large budget to cover unique programs such as this one.

Many of our members never have the opportunity to go to the beach or even leave our county. Please help afford them this wonderful opportunity.
