Overlooked Ministries was created me and by best friend John Esler. The vision for this started in a school building when we were up doing some late-night studying and saw a multitude of janitors walk by the vacant classroom. They were just starting their shift at 10 pm, their heads were down, and they were serving my college with excellence. Often we would say hi when we pass these individuals in the halls, but the love is shown towards them rarely progressed passed that point. These people are overlooked, and at that moment we hatched a plan to change that. Tonight (Tuesday, December 6) Garrett and John will use the $150 that we raised to give $10 gift cards to 15 janitorial staff at Baylor as a way to show our appreciation in an intentional way. While 15 lives impacted are wonderful, the vision for this ministry extends past this number. We hope to be able to minister to all the overlooked in the Waco area (the homeless population, janitors, teachers, and cafeteria staff). We are asking you to support us in any way you can. If all you can contribute is a prayer for tonight, that is WONDERFUL! If this leads to any of you being inspired to serve the overlooked population where you live in any way, FANTASTIC.
