Outreach for Shorty

Shorty has always been there to help St Gerard's Outreach and others, but now he needs our help.
If you have been to Kentucky with St. Gerard's Outreach, then you surely know Shorty.
Unfortunately he has had some recent financial hardships. Not long ago, his second wife Linda Jane passed away, and Shorty now owes some debts that are too difficult for him to pay off alone at 85 years old. We are trying to help Shorty out by raising some money to help with these debts.
Shorty has helped our outreach group bring hope to those in need for over 20 years now; entirely unselfishly and out of the kindness of his own heart. He has had an impact on the lives of hundreds of high school students over the years that have been on this trip as well. Whether it’s teaching us to use a saw, imparting wise words of wisdom, or allowing us to stay at his home, Shorty has touched all of our lives in some way.
Mike would like bring some good news to Shorty when the group goes down to KY for the annual trip next week.
