Help Dennis & Joy Rebuild After Fire

As requested by friends and family, we've been urged to create this donation campaign as we must completely relocate and rebuild. We are Joy and Dennis Clark, owners of Lighthouse Caregivers Private Senior Care Service. Dennis is also a passionate car and bike collector;  and I'm a music director at Temple United Methodist Church in San Francisco. We survived the fire that burned down our home in the Coffey Park neighborhood in Santa Rosa. The chirping sounds of the smoke alarm was what woke us up at 3:20 a.m. Houses on our block were on fire! The trees, hedge and cars of our home were on fire too! We had just minutes to grab very little, and sadly couldn't take our very scared cat, Jinx. We dodged flying debris and embers to get into the Ford Excursion and drove away from our burning block. Thank God that we escaped the burning cul-de-sac.

Next stop was to save our elderly client who lived in Journey's End Senior Mobile Home Park. Thank goodness we woke him and the Caregiver out before the fire burned down 90% of Journeys End. He is now safe in a boarding home for seniors.

We've lost everything. Dennis is a collector of Classic Cars and Motorcycles as he enjoyed the hobby of collecting and trading. We shared a home office as we run our company Lighthouse Caregivers using our home office. We will need a new home to rent, cars to operate business mostly in San Francisco and San Mateo County, and to work regularly in San  Francisco. We will need to rebuild everything; office furniture, computers, printers, documents, everything! We need home furnishings, clothes, kitchenware, etc.

With the loving support of donations, we will gratefully use every dollar to rebuild our lives. We will transfer the donations into our personal account to help buy the basic needs to operate business, to get into a new rental, to buy used vehicles, furnishings, clothes, etc. Thank you to our loving friends and family who are so very generous and compassionate. We will never forget how so many came to our care in such a tragedy. Everyone's love fills is with hope to rise from these ashes.
