Ball-E is the latest and greatest artificial advice app. He knows what's best for you, whether you like it or not!

Outlook Not So Good is a student short film you're not going to want to miss! Living in the age of artificial intelligence, it's almost impossible to ignore. With each passing day, it seems to offer more and more convenient solutions... almost too convenient, perhaps? It makes you wonder what could happen if the AI decided it knows better than us...

Our film seeks to answer that very question. After downloading the AI advice app Ball-E, our protagonist Marcus is forced on the defensive as the program goes rogue and starts changing his life for the worse.

What happens next? We're happy to show you-- but we'll need your help!

How to help

Making movies is a blast, but it sure ain't cheap! We're shooting for a budget of $6000 to cover the costs of location, props, production design, and keeping our hardworking cast and crew fed.

What's in it for me?

We wouldn't be asking you to help bring Ball-E to life if there wasn't anything in it for you! Rest assured, there are benefits galore!

$10 - Special thanks in the credits! Every little bit helps!

$25 - Special thanks, and an early access digital copy of the film!

$50 - Special thanks, an early access digital copy, and a digital poster for the film!

$100 - All other perks, and a physical copy of the poster signed by cast and crew!

$250 - All other perks, and a personal message of thanks from the director and Ball-E himself!

What else can I do?

Spread the word! No press is bad press, especially when we're trying to have ourselves heard! Send it to your friends, family, even your dog, if you want!

Outlook Not So Good is starting principle photography on October 24th, so if you'd like to help, don't wait too long! And while you're at it, check us out on Instagram
