We are excited to let you know we've served over 400 meals between the 3 restaurants; Eat Americana, Kio Ramen and Cassava. Please continue to share this campaign so that we can keep feeding the people and bringing the revenue to the restaurants.

This past week we saw an unprecedented level of massive layoffs uniquely hitting the service and retail industry. Some of them were laid off without the last paycheck or tips they had already earned, that should have come into their hands.
These hard-working folks are maxing out credit cards and soon won't be able to afford basic necessities or food, even though they are able to stay without paying the rent for next month.
As we wait for the universal basic income and the unemployment checks to come to everyone, some of them need to eat today. Eat Americana on Balboa St graciously agreed to package 100 meals a day at $10 each, as long as these funds last.
We urge you to help support your neighborhood. This will keep the jobs at Eat Americana, and also 100 people fed with a hot meal. Eat Americana is known for its killer burgers and brunch specialties such as their breakfast burritos.
Once we raise enough money for seven days of meals we will set up a time slot schedule for people to pick up the meals. Due to social distancing guidelines and safety, we'll limit to 5 pickups per 15-minute slot.
