Ousman Sanyang of Gambia

Video of Ousman's Story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pVtnhJg3PU&t=1s

Ousman Sanyang lost his dad 2 years ago in a timber harvesting accident, along with 6 other men in the village. Out of school, but still not having completed it, 18 year old Ousman does his best to take care of 5 younger siblings with his mother who has Parkinson's. He had the help of his older sister, but she passed away June 12th due to malnutrition.

Now, with the owner of Ousman's house wanting Ousman and his family out by September, after the rainy season, they'll need to find a new place to go. But without a bread winner, it would be more ideal to finally own their own land, where they wouldn't have to be hit with the monthly bills and could grow their food.

The goal is to raise $9,320. This amount would go toward helping Ousman's family buy land, build a house, put food on the table as well as provide much needed clothes and medicine. The below are the estimates for each element.

Land: $2,420 - - - > 125,000 Gambia Money (GMD)

House Construction: $3,900 - - - > 200,000 Gambia Money (GMD)

Food + an egg providing chicken: $1,000  /   Clothing: $1,000   /   Medicine: $1,000
