What is the problem?
The world is dark. Despair. Confusion. Corruption. Abuse. Depression. Despondence. Meaninglessness. If not just words that litter our headlines, they are sentiments that trickle across our lives. The need for light has never been more urgent and a generation that is becoming increasingly concerned about this is Millenials.
In the past perhaps the church would have been their choice place to begin looking for answers. Today, for many Millenials, the church is dead. The numbers speak for themselves with church attendance figures at an all-time low, and young adults, in particular, leaving the church in droves.
For others, God is dead too. Secularism, a view that God does not exist, is the train that is not stopping. Never have there been more options for exploring what it means to be spiritual or live a life of meaning. Like peas or garden salad, God is commonly presented as an optional side dish on a menu of fresher alternatives. If not a side dish, He is a knife and fork - simply an instrument to relish the main course rather than a personality to be known and delighted in.
The person of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, offers a weighty response to a broken world. Amidst all the consumption of new ideas is there space for Him at the table? What is the solution?
We believe that the answer to the dilemmas above amongst Christians and non-Christians alike remains in the infallible Gospel - in all its simplicity, beauty, and saving power. Understanding it. Enjoying it. Sharing it. We therefore aim to provide an interactive online and offline space where people can engage with sound teaching about God, gain skills to share the gospel more effectively, and quicken their pursuit of finding joy in Jesus. We believe the gospel is the power unto salvation for all who believe, and we have found a way of expressing its truths to a millennial generation in a language they understand.
Who are we?
A dynamic Christian Charity deeply impassioned by The Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our God-given mission to set out into this ever-darkening world, to make known God’s radiant truth and equipping those carrying the same passion, to enlighten the masses. Why partner with us?
We know that as children of God we must remain teachable. Partnerships are therefore welcome in consideration of our growth and Our God-Given Mission will continue to collaborate with churches such as Tenerife Family Church and the Living Room Tenerife whom we have been working with for 4 years as of 2019. It is no secret that through the charity, God has allowed us to touch thousands of lives. However, we believe that sound partnership will further enable us to co-create the emergence of a world that is not shrouded in darkness, but open to our he light of the gospel of Christ to the world.Who will benefit from our Campaign?
