Our Bella girl ♡

To whom ever comes across this message I'd like to thank you for taking time out to read this. Anyone who has a dog will understand the loyalty and companionship they come with. It is an unconditional love that makes them not only a dog but a family member. Our bella, a 4 year old pit bull mix, is another part of our family. She is the most amazing dog I have ever owned or have ever come across. She is so full of love and protection for our family. Since the day my daughter was born on Jul 3rd 2012 our bella has not left her side. Always by her crib her bassinet rock n play or at our feet if our daughter was in our arms. And to this day our daughter now being 2 years old they play dress up and house as she allows my daughter to squeeze her into clothes and let's her pile play kitchen food toys all over her as she lays there patiently. She is one of my daughters biggest fans. About a month in a half ago bella was rushed to animal hospital of mt. Laurel to find out she had a complete tear of her cruciate ligament (ACL) on her back left stifle. After a long night and reviewing options we knew we had to find a surgeon. Back and fourth between vets trying to find the best way to go about this while being cost efficient at the same time wasn't a walk in the park. We finally find a Surgeon. Dr. Ron Ben-Ammotz. He is the head surgeon at VSEC animal hospital off of front street in philly. He is absolutely wonderful along with all of the staff that works there. This hasn't been easy for us in any way and they have accommodated us as much as possible. At this point bella can barely walk. She has to be carried every where and outside to go potty. Not even a couple days after meeting the surgeon for the first time bella completely tore her ACL of her right stifle. Surgeon says because she was compensating for the left stifle and chances are there were previous minor tears that I wasn't aware of. So now our bella is in a tremendous amount of pain we 2 broken legs. She is on medications and has to be monitored 24.7. On Tuesday October 21st bella received her first surgery on her left stifle where they did a TPLO surgery ( tibial plateau leveling osteotomy). Which was a total of $4000. Now in 4 weeks bella will need her second and final TPLO Surgery to her right stifle, which again will be another $4000. So here I am asking anyone who comes across this to find it in their heart to help our bella out. Bella has showed us infinite amount of love, companionship, loaylty, and protection and least I can do for her is get her life back. Her heart is still so warm and youth is on her side. I am her only voice and I will use it as much as I have too to get out bella girl back. Please all you animal lovers out there or anyone who has been in a simular situation or anyone who has needed some help, take us into consideration. Thank you all in advanced!
