Our sweet Nic with the big heart

on Tuesday March 14th 2018 at around 6:55 am Nic texted his wife Haley to let her know their daughter was on the school bus. Haley arrived home from work around 7:15am (she works 3rds) crawled in bed with her husband while he snored comfortably in bed. 30 minutes later, their son woke up so Haley nudged Nic to wake up, quickly noticing he was not breathing. She and her sister did chest compressions on Nic until EMT arrived and took over. Nic was rushed to Hurley where we learned he had suffered a rare brain aneurysm, his prognosis was grim. 

 After 3 long days in Hurley ICU, Nic's body had decided it was time to let go and he passed around 12:50 pm March 16, 2018.  

Nic was a healthy 29 year old man with a beautiful wife an 8 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son. This is very unexpected and the sadness felt is great. Now Haley has to raise the children on her own and will need alot of support in the coming months, but right now she needs help with Nic's final expenses. We do not know the medical costs incurred yet, but I assume they will be high.  I (Jackie Randall) am Nics sister and I am hoping setting up a Gofundme for my sister in law and her children will relieve something. We are all going to miss my little brother incredibly- his heart was as big as they come.
