Kay Bearty, my best friend and partner of nearly 40 years passed away on August 4, 2017. I thought she had a $7000 life insurance policy only to find out that it doesn't mature until November, 2017. Unfortunately, I am not financially able to pay for her funeral expenses nor are her children. They all have families of their own and have limited financial means.
Kay has always been a hard worker never asking for help in raising three children As a single parent.. She never asked for charity or help. I have been with her and have been happy to help her and her family. Her family became my family and I love them very much.
Kay and I have had a good life over the years. We may not have had a lot of money, but we were able to provide a good home for her children. Over the past two years, Kay has been stricken with dementia as well as other ailments. I have taken care of her in our home until it was no longer possible at which time she went to a nursing home. It has been so sad to see her "lost in her mind", but I have been thankful to have every minute with her. But now, no more suffering. She's in a better place.
I am asking for $5000 which will cover her funeral expenses. I, and her family, have chosen cremation as a means of keeping expenses down. Even though legally I am not responsible for Kay, I would have it no other way.
she is my partner in life, and I will be her partner in death. Eventually, we will be together again. I will need funds as soon as possible to be able to pay the Funeral Home. Any donation will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.
