Our family has been ripped apart today and would like to share our story with you. I am doing this on behalf of my sister Kelly Digby and her family. My nephew Daniel Fenner has not had an easy life he has been a poorly lad.
Suffers from low platates and nearly died twice as a baby been in and out of hospital. The last 6 months have been the worst for him he has had two Bone marrow biopsy's he has be diagnosed with MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome) please see link http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/myelodysplasia/Pages/Introduction.aspx
Today Daniel had his results he has leukaemia has to have 6 weeks chemo starting next week then as long as that is a success he will then have a bone marrow transplant once we find a donor.
I am creating this page to help with travel costs loss of earnings and any other expenses that may arise. Daniel will be in hospital for 3 months to 6 months maybe be even longer. I know he is going to pull through this and would like to raise money for him and his family at this sad time. Might even raise enough for a little holiday once all this heartache is over and we get our special child back to his normal fighting self.
I am proud to have him as my nephew and as a family and with our friends support we will get through it not going to be easy and will have some tough times ahead.
