Our sons funeral expenses

I am Michael's stepmother and the grandmother of his children. On October 19 2020 Michael's father and I got the worst news a parent can ever get. Our sweet boy was found deceased from self inflicted injuries.  Michael had a pretty rough life from 16 until his death at only 26 years old. His first son was born when he was only 16. Unfortunately his relationship with the mother didnt last, and Michael tried to be the best father to Jeffrey that he possibly could be. After turning 18, Michael started dating a girl from school, and eventually they had 3 more children who were the light of Michael's life. They were married just over a year ago. He struggled to support his little family and had many set backs along the way. The relationship with the children's mother was rocky at best, and they eventually seperated a week before my sons suicide. Since Michael's passing, we have incurred many unexpected expenses related to his passing. His wife was unable to pay for his services and cremation, so we put that on a credit card. We had an agreement that we would split Michael's ashes, giving his wife and 3 children half, and keeping half for us and his oldest son. Since that time, she has removed Michael's ashes from the funeral home and as of now, we won't be receiving our half. We are not sure why she is doing this, but its incredibly difficult to mourn the loss of your child when you don't even have anything to remember him by.   Please help if you can, even $5 could be so much help if we can get enough donors.
