Supporting Rising Lotus - Creating Futures

Hi Friends and Family. Hope this post finds you well! I am excited to share a cause as you well know is close to my heart: Supporting the twenty-six girls at Rising Lotus Children's Village in Kathmandu, Nepal. ❤️ For the last three months of 2019, I was privileged to befriend each beautiful child at Rising Lotus. They come from all over Nepal, all from some form of poverty, whether it be orphaned, abandoned by a parent, or from remote regions with no access to education or proper nutrition. ❤️ Since 2006, through the dedication of Co-founders Hari Prasad Sharma and Tracy Torregrossa-Brandt, over fifty children have been given the love and resources to live happy lives with bright futures. ❤️ My aims in the campaign is to immerse you in the mission of Hari, Tracy and Rising Lotus, create a connection with the girls themselves, and to enable their continued well being. ❤️ Any support you feel compelled to give goes directly to providing the girls their English language education, a balanced three meal per day diet, school supplies, shelter at the Rising Lotus "campus", and covering staff costs. ❤️ Please know that your donation of any amount makes a lasting impact on their lives, something I experienced first hand. The girls are so full of joy, of creativity, of opportunity. They love to dance, cook, paint, play games, help each other, and simply express love as I hope the video showcases ️ ❤️ I can't thank you enough for taking the time to look through them and supporting a cause that I will continue to dedicate my life to as the months and years go on. ❤️ For reference $3,000 is the total monthly expense for 26 girls and 4 staff: roughly $100 per girl per month; crazy to think the difference this amount makes on their lives in the grand scheme of things. ❤️ Lastly, the girls ❤️ LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️ to write letters!
