Hi everyone,
As some of you know I am a Reception Teacher at an inner city school in Manchester. Each year we have a Winter Fair to raise money for the school and it's much needed resources. This year our Reception class and it's families have created a 'Reception Recipe Book' to help raise money for food poverty - something which affects not only children in our school but schools up and down the country. It is estimated that 2.5 million children live in food insecure households across the UK. We have been supported by S4B Manchester to create this lovely book which has been contributed to by our families and our Reception children.
The book has recipes in from our families from Somalia, Albania and others from around the world and also our staff members favourite recipes too!
If my family and friends could donate any amount big or small to our cause it can make a difference to experiences and resources that we can share with our children and their families. For every donation I will drop off a recipe book with you!
