As Australia is being "surveyed" on Marriage Equality, Sebastian and James are getting hitched in Spain.
After a difficult year, we've raised the cash to make this a reality. However, the buck stops there... and we ask for your support to help us with our "hunny-moon" or what we've called "The Rainbow Roadtrip across Croatia".
We've got a ferry ticket into Porec and 14-days later a flight out of Dubrovnik - what happens in-between is what we ask you to determine.
Will it be hitch'n on the highways and sleep'n under the stars? (please no) Or sipping a Rakija on the coastline of the Adriatic Sea? (yes please) It's in your hands dear friends and family... and all "wedding gifts" will be rewarded (on our return) with a quirky souvenir from our adventure.
Your cash will give us transport, accommodation, nourishment and life-long memories as we start our new lives together on the high-ways and by-ways of Croatia.
So here's the deal:
*Pledges under $20 will be rewarded with a stolen item from a local hotel (ie: soap, shampoo or sewing kit).
*Pledges under $50 will be rewarded with a postcard that will include someone in a bikini or an image of a piece of cured meat (or both - if that's possible).
*Pledges under $100 will be rewarded with a potentially tacky and somewhat useless local souvenir (ie: snow-dome or Licitar Heart).
*Pledges over $100 will receive a facebook video from a local we've met on our travels personally thanking you for your gift to us (ie: a stranger we meet in a late night bar somewhere).
Please help us have a memorable honeymoon while we share a little piece of our experience with you.
