Send Chance to Texas A&M Vet Medical Teaching Hosp

❤️ Everyone meet Chance ❤️ Named that because he needs a chance!

Chance came to me on Dec 12, 2019 and he is just 11 weeks old (less than 3 months old)!  On Nov 22, this puppy woke unable to walk; paralyzed in the rear.  He was taken to a vet where x-rays were unable to determine a diagnosis.  He has pain sensations throughout his back, his hips and both rear legs and must take pain medication and Clindamycin for the diagnosis of unverified Neosporosis.

His left hip is out of its socket due to infection and inflammation forcing it out.  His back legs are rigid and he cannot bend any of his joints.  It is as if his back legs were made of wood.  If you stand him on all fours, he is able to stand, but his rear falls over after a couple of steps and then has to scoot to get around, dragging his legs.  He has a sore on his leg from dragging himself around.  He is just a puppy.   As dire as this is, know that Chance is a spoiled, fat, happy puppy (thanks to pain meds) that loves to play and just be a sweet baby puppy.

We must act quickly to save Chance from being paralyzed for life.  He can be saved if we provide him the intense, immediate medical and professional physical therapy care.  I am not waiting for donations before trying fix this puppy.  We simply cannot put off a single thing. This is a very time sensitive condition which can worsen if not acted upon right now.  He desperately needs your help.

Chance went to the neurologist Monday, Dec 16 He received x-rays, an MRI, and blood work.  We are waiting for detailed results of the blood work.  Today's bill: $4000.

IMMEDIATE SIMULTANEOUS REQUIREMENTS:  If we get this guy the following  at the same time, we will have done everything possible to get this guy on his feet again.  We must do these things simultaneously, thus the need for immediate donations.

1.  Underwater Treadmill Physical Therapy: Twice a week for 6 months.  Total projected price: $3345
2.  Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy:  $1122 for 20 sessions
3.  Canine Wheelchair: $450 for therapy and to save his bum and legs from scooting around dragging his poor legs. (videos on request).

Chance will be on medications for a long time, have vet visits, neurologist visits, therapy items for home use such as a walking harness. That is why I am asking for your help to get us to $9500.

With everything, there is a best and worst case.  We are determined to get sweet Chance the ability to be a puppy and run again with minimal problems or even spinal walking.  Worst case is he would use the wheelchair, but be a completely healthy, happy, and more importantly a pain free puppy.  Let's not let this puppy spend its life in pain.

As things progress, I will be providing periodic updates via this GoFundMe.  For daily updates (pictures, videos, progress reports, etc.), you can follow Chance's journey and watch him thrive from being a broken puppy to a healthy pain free puppy.  Denny's Doodles on FaceBook will be doing everything we can to raise money for our sweet Chance.  Please help us!

Our little Chance is a fighter with his spunky personality and fearless attitude together we are going to conquer this, but we need your help

BTW... once we get Chance fixed, I will find him the perfect home with a loving family and he will be our gift of love, inspiration, and hope.

God Bless you in advance for your prayers and generous help.  This puppy needs you.
