Because Joel and I will be moving from Canada and can't take much with us, if you'd like to bless us with something, this fund is set up as a wishing well for whatever you'd like to bless us with.
Here are a couple examples things we are thinking of putting/needing to put money towards in the coming months:
- Rachel's visa application: Moving to any new country can be difficult and stressful. And marrying Joel doesn't immediately make me an Australian citizen. This means that, after we marry, I will have to undergo a lengthy and expensive visa application process in order for Joel and I to be able to live indefinitely in the same country. The application for the visa I need costs just over $7,000 AUD. Having the money for this is top priority for us, so every little bit helps us reach that goal, and it would mean the world for us to be able to lodge the application quickly and without financial stress.
- Honeymoon costs: This is pretty self-explanatory. Following our wedding, Joel and I would love to have the ability to spend some time celebrating our marriage and every little bit helps us achieve that!
