Our daughter, Emily, is our sunshine. She fills our lives with joy, laughter, and an incredible spirit. But beneath her bright smile, she's been silently battling a condition no child should have to bear.
At just three months in the womb, during a routine ultrasound, Emily was diagnosed with thoracic lumbar scoliosis. We were told it wouldn't correct itself, that instead it would worsen, and that surgery would be necessary when she turned ten.
However, our little girl has grown so much in the past few years, and her scoliosis has progressed faster. At only 7, she's already experiencing major pain. Surgery is no longer something we can postpone. It's needed now.
Our insurance will cover some of the costs, but the reality is that the surgery itself (approx. $10,000), along with the extensive physical therapy she'll need afterward, places a significant financial burden on our family.
That's why we're reaching out to you, our family, friends, and compassionate strangers. We're asking for your help to give our daughter the surgery she needs.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference in Emily's journey to recovery.
