"Go homeless" so Utah youth don't have to

20% of kids in America are homeless the day they age out of foster care. This Christmas, we're asking for your help to keep Utah's at-risk youth off the streets.

We're asking you to donate the cost of a vacation stay on airbnb, so that Utah youth can spend another day indoors, safe and warm. The proceeds will go to Youth Futures Utah, a nonprofit that strives to keep Utah's at-risk youth off the streets.

Our goal was to "book" these homeless airbnb locations through next Christmas. They've removed some of our listings, but our goal is still to raise $10,000. If you can donate the cost of a vacation day to help us reach that goal, we'd be very grateful.

Why are we doing this?

This project is a collaboration between Youth Futures Utah and Havenwood Academy. It's a sobering fact that roughly 50% of America's homeless population have been in foster care. As a center that specializes in foster teens, Havenwood's goal is to raise awareness of the link between foster care and homelessness, and to provide Utah foster kids with the resources they need to stay off the streets. By donating to our fundraiser this Christmas, you are helping to do both.
