As you all know, our beloved island of Puerto Rico was torn apart by Hurricane Maria on September 20th. The devastation was so great, the entire island was left without power, water, and any means of communication. Now, two weeks later, the residents on the island continue to struggle with everyday necessitites.
Being so far away and not being able to physically help is a heartbreaking feeling. Since so many of you have asked us what you can do, or where you can donate, our family has created this Go Fund Me page to move forward in providing aid to the island.
As was already mentioned, everyday necessities are a precious commodity at the moment. The money raised will be used for those necessities: water, batteries, medicine, non-perishable foods, and any other items requested that we are able to provide.
Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.
Puerto Ricans all over the world have united under the chant, "Puerto Rico se levanta!" // "Puerto Rico rises!"
Together, we can make this happen.
