Our Harley needs wheels!!! ( handicap van )

As a special needs mom, I don’t have the power to make life “fair” for my sweet Harley Man, but I do have the power to make life joyful!!! I made him a promise the first time I got to hold him after finding out he was going to be ours, that I would always do whatever it took to make sure he had a happy life!!! And I’m going to fulfill that promise, even if I have to beg for help from friends and family!!!! My sweet boy is in desperate need of a handicap van. As many of you know, Harley loves going places and he’s never met a stranger! One of his favorite things to do in the summer, is to go exploring at Kentucky Lake, Land Between the Lakes area. He just tells us roads to turn down to see what we can find. He loves to go out to eat and trips to Walmart. He also loves looking up places to visit and he has a list of fun places to go this summer. But sadly, this won’t be possible without a van so he can travel in his wheelchair that was specially made for him, it allows him to sit in comfort, keeping off his tender spots, it tilts for resting, changing, and repositioning. He can no longer sit in his travel chair\car seat for long periods, it hurts his little body and makes red spot on his bottom and back. He will cry because his uncomfortable, and then he gets really upset when we have to go home due to him being so uncomfortable!!! It’s heartbreaking!! Just going to the doctor here in town is hard, but most of his doctors are hours away. He has so many struggles, so many things he will never be able to do, or experience. That’s why it is so important for him to be able to go places, that’s one thing he can do and it’s one of his favorite things in the world to do, with the music up and the windows down! Please help me make this possible, even if I could get a really good down payment that would help so much! We are asking for 10,000.00 dollars for the down payment.  This picture is from two summers ago, on the way to the lake.
