Amanda Frost is kicking Cancer

Friends of Amanda Frost are rallying behind our dear friend to support her rising medical costs due to a shocking cancer diagnosis. At first, her insurance coverage was a Wellness Plan. It failed to cover any major medical needs, let alone costly cancer treatments and surgery.

Amanda was forced to seek insufficient care at a public hospital that could not refuse her. At best, her treatment there could only be described as neglectful. Amanda has now been admitted to a new hospital to recover from severe dehydration and malnourishment, among other things. All of which could have been avoided or treated properly in time with adequate professional oversight.

Amanda continued to work through 8 of the 10 prescribed chemo treatments, on top of the 5 radiation treatments she previously received. However, it was the last treatment that Amanda could not bounce back from. Now hospitalized and extremely weak, Amanda can no longer work for the foreseeable future and once she is strong enough, she will undergo the cancer surgery, requiring a 6-week recovery period.

We are again reaching out to our communities... for advice, emotional support, physical support, and financial aid to help us see Amanda through this epically challenging time. Thankfully she was able to get better insurance, but due to her pre-existing condition, it is very expensive and there are many other out of pocket expenses to cover.
