Our former foster child, Chloe

As some of you may know, our former foster child, Chloe, came back into our lives recently after having lost her guardian to metastatic breast cancer in June. She is now in the care of her biological mother, Donna. Both Chloe (age 16) and Donna’s lives have been turned upside down in the past few months. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to create a foundation of stability so that they can move forward with their lives.

Right now, a reliable car is crucial to that stability—to get Donna to and from work 6 days a week, to take Chloe to counseling and doctor appointments, and to find a safe and affordable place to rent (at present they are living with elderly relatives). Although we have helped them connect with other needed resources, transportation is key to accessing these resources and for stable, independent living.
