Jeffrey Conklin is the husband of Stephanie, and father of two of the most adorable little girls, Lilah-6 years old, and Sarah-3 years old.
It breaks our heart to face Jeff’s medical situation and we really wish we didn't have to ask for help, but we are at a loss with what to do right now. Here is our story and we humbly ask for any support possible.
Background:
In February 2017, after visiting doctors and having multiple tests performed, he was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Malignant Neoplasm Tumor in his lower colon. On March 20th, 2017, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor measuring 10 centimeters. It had grown outside the intestine and attached to the pelvic wall – thus requiring extensive surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
He went through 10 months of chemo and radiation therapy to kill any remaining cancer cells.
He has been going for routine CT scans and check-ups to monitor his condition and look for any evidence of the cancer spreading.
Current Situation:
In July 2018, his routine CT scan came back with a recurrence of cancer. Further CT and PET scans revealed the cancer had spread into the abdominal lymph nodes and is growing. In early October 2018, his Oncologist confirmed the cancer is spreading rapidly through his body.
Jeff's best chance of survival is to proceed quickly with another series of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Without any treatments Jeff has 9 to 18 months to live.
As you can imagine, their lives are turned upside down with the thoughts of losing a husband and father; and they desperately need help!
Our Request:
As Jeff and Stephanie face the next chapter of this cancer battle, there are financial challenges that will need to be met. These expenses will be difficult to meet because he will be unable to work and they will have no income.
Many of you ask, “How can I help?” The answer – contribute to the family's GoFundMe Campaign! The proceeds will go to pay the medical and household expenses so they can focus on getting through the cancer treatments.

There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are for all your love, kindness, and generosity. Many of you have reached out to help us since this difficult journey started. With the recurrence of the cancer it’s almost like starting over.
We need your support to help us get through the next series of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.
There’s a difficult road ahead. We will keep everyone updated as the treatments progress. We have hope and continue to “Stand Strong in Our Faith”.
Please help us as we continue our battle with cancer and continue "Our Journey of Hope".
