Our Family Medical Crisis

Early Novemeber 2017, we had that "it will never happen to us" moment when my wife was admitted to hospital in intensive care with a brain hemorrhage.  The neurosurgeon cleared his schedule to operate but lucky her condition improved and after 2 weeks in hospital she finally came home, but requires a lot of support in the day to day routine. Surgeon's orders are to rest, no driving, no lifting and no work.

I'm working as many hours as I can however this is limited as we also have our little 19 month old to care for as well.   We have been forced to put the house on the market but until it sells we need a little extra help to keep paying the bills.

The medical bills have started coming in and specialist appointments continue, money is running out quickly.

We can’t thank our families enough for their help and support so far, but with my wife’s limitation I can’t work the hours I need to support my family.  It has been a big adjustment going from 2 incomes to 1 and we are selling off what we can and starting from scratch.

It’s hard to ask for help but I don’t know what else to do, so I’m reaching out here in the hope this may provide some support for my young family.

Thank you for taking time to read our story and we thank in advance for your help and assistance as our family goes through this difficult time.
