Help our family get back on track, anything helps

Hello, my name is Addie Mayfield and I started this go fund me account at a very tough/vulnerable time. I am not one to just put my business out there but I’m drowning and the waves just keep getting higher.

Last month I made my first BIG purchase of a new car for the kids and myself! As many knew, I have been driving my Grandpas old vehicle, and FINALLY saved up enough money to give it back to my Grandma to sell and start the journey with my own car.

3 weeks after getting the vehicle(Lincoln MKX) while parked at my house, someone decided to shove wood chips down my gas tank leaving the car undrivable. Thankfully after being inspected, I do not need a new engine however the total estimate is way more than I can afford at once. Due to this situation, childcare, rent, bills, groceries, and gas, *as well life not stopping, I feel like I cannot, to save my life, get even close to being caught up. The kids have been home with me in the mornings and thankfully family/family friends in the afternoon due to not being able to afford childcare, however it’s breaking my heart as a mom to feel like I’m trying so hard but just continually coming up very short.
