Our family member and friend Lisa Opozda (Lindsay) lost her best friend and husband of nearly 10 years, Lyndel Opozda, from a month long fight with COVID-19, today, December 24, 2020.
Lisa and Lyndel were loved by so many. Lisa is surrounded by love and support. But she is sure to need more. Lyndel was out of work during this fight. Personal bills stacked up. Hospital bills are sure to be astronomical. Lisa will be strained with financial burden that she cannot begin to afford.
Lisa and Lyndel were both an integral part of the Moore County restaurant community for many many years. They worked hard as managers and chefs at several local restaurants to keep us fed and happy. In return we want to do everything possible to give back to Lisa and to ease the upcoming financial stress this devastating disease and loss of Lyndel has created.....we cannot do this alone. It is unimaginable to lose your best friend only to be left with bills you cannot pay.
