Remodel Contractor Abandoned Us

Hi my name is Philip Bell and my wife's name is Deena. We have two children ages 7 and 8. We live in an older home and 14 months ago we hired a contractor to remodel it for us. The remodel was to be rather extensive and involve changing the whole interior of the home. Unfortunately we hired the wrong contractor and he has taken nearly all the money that we contracted with him for. He has now abandoned us and left us with a very large portion of work to be done. We refinanced our home in order to pay for this remodel and unfortunately those funds are gone now.
        We are heartbroken and devastated.  This is not at all the way that we hoped things would go. Our faith is in God and we know that he is good no matter our circumstances.  We know that He has a plan even if we never fully understand why.           We have been living in the home throughout this ordeal. We are weary and long for the day that our house will be complete.  We are hoping to raise funds in order to pay a new contractor to finish the job.
