Thank you for visiting our wedding registry! If you are thinking of giving a traditional wedding gift, we ask that you instead consider a donation to one of the charitable organizations listed below that are close to our hearts. Monetary donations or a donation of time and energy to either cause are equally meaningful to us.
Come March 1st, 2018 we will be equally dividing the total of all donations to the two charities listed below. The websites are listed below for informational purposes although we ask that any monetary donations are made through our gofundme registry campaign.
Special Olympics of Colorado
"Who Do We Serve in Colorado? 21,118+ Athletes 265 Schools 10,000+ Volunteers 2,500+ Coaches 3,000+ Law Enforcement Who Do We Reach in Colorado? 260,000+ students 25,000 Families and Friends of Athlete Who are SOCO athletes? 47% of athletes are at or below the poverty line 57% identify as Caucasian, 36% identify as Latina/o, and 4% identify as African American, and 3% as Asian. They live throughout the state. Athletes can begin participating at age two for the rest of their lifetime. An average athlete visits 50 different physicians until she or he can find one that can meet their needs."
