Support our YOUNG WOMENS HUB through Covid 19

We need your help! Here at the Young Women's Hub, we aim to ensure that we can provide the best care to all of our young women during the Covid-19 crisis and beyond.
The Young Women's Hub provides a holistic wrap around education service for the most vulnerable young women in the local community between the ages of 11 and 16.
For most of our students, our nurturing Hub in Catford, Lewisham is the only safe space they know.
The school building has had to close due to the current situation. We have had to restructure care and support in a completely new way so that we can help the girls remotely during this crisis.
Covid-19 is having a dramatic long term effect on the charity because we rely on accepting new students throughout the year – and this time of year would normally be our busiest period. We are a very small, local charity, which means that we do not receive much financial support and often slip through the funding cracks!
More widely, the crisis will have a detrimental impact on our local community. It is essential that we continue to run in the best way that we can with our current students, as well as preparing for the increased demand in our services, which we expect when we are able to reopen.
We totally appreciate that everyone is going to be cash-strapped and struggling in the next few months, however, every bit of cash that we can raise will enable us to survive and grow as a charity through this crisis and beyond.
In the short term, we need to raise money so that we can provide food and supplies vouchers for our young women and their families during the Covid-19 crisis.
We also need to also ensure that we can keep up with our general overhead and maintenance costs, as well as providing mentoring and educational services remotely.
For the long term, we have big plans to develop our services to the young women, and more widely their families too.
We would love to be able to make some exciting steps towards improving the school building and equipment, as well as broadening and increasing our pastoral and therapeutic care for our students.
We mean it when we say that all donations, any amount will play a part in ensuring we can provide the most caring and essential services to some of the most vulnerable young women in our community!
