Our Amazing Angie

We would like to ask for your help in raising money for our amazing friend Angie. Everyone who knows Angie loves her, she always sees the best in everything and everyone and once met you have a friend for life who will support you selflessly.
After 2 years suffering stomach and back pain and becoming a type 2 diabetic in March 2017, Ange was eventually diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August 2017. This was a devastating and heartbreaking diagnosis for her, her family and all the many friends who love her but her main concern on receiving this news was to comfort and apologise to those who love her for causing them pain.
This gorgeous, courageous lady faced her upcoming fight against this horrendous cancer with optimism and bravery and always with a smile on her beautiful face, focusing on positivity and humour to lighten the pain.
Despite months of intensive chemotherapy followed by nearly 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy and chemo tablets Angie's final scan in February 2018 revealed that the cancer has now spread to her lungs and liver. Conventional medicine offers no further benefit and her prognosis currently is approximately 8 months.
This GoFundMe campaign is to help raise funds for Angie's Complimentary Treatments and to assist her in making lasting memories by achieving some of the dreams on her Bucket List. The main one being a visit to see her only beloved son who lives in New Zealand.
Amazing Angie is surrounded by so much love and support because of the wonderful person she is and we hope that those who are able to, will provide the funds she needs to help her through the next few months.
