It is time to give back to our Alma Mater Vani Vidyalaya now!
The school set the platform and foundation to pursue our dreams to our fullest by imparting the most important skills of life! The school building has stood strong for 52 years since the day of opening in 1965.
Structural audit by the Municipal Corporation strongly recommended redevelopment. Of course, the management of our School have rightly decided that the safety of its students, teachers and the staff assume primary importance.
I am sure many of us (including my husband and I) have had at least 2 generations of alumnus from Vani Vidyalaya. I think this is a wonderful opportunity for us to show how a strong student alumni can improve our local school for future generations to come.
Today we have Vani-ites all around the world making a strong impact in the local community that they are part of. How about leaving a legacy also at the place where we all started?
I have modestly set a goal of raising 15,000 USD from the alumni network. I am sure we will beat the goal through strong contributions from all of you!
The funds would be used towards the redevelopment, as well as expansion of the Junior college and modernization of the science labs.
Please spread the word amongst your networks so that this fundraiser reaches every Vani-ite who has passed out since the first batch of 1975!
