Otto's Mentorship Program Abroad
At the end of this month, I am leaving the United States to study in an artist mentorship program. I will be taken under the wing of artist Orley Ypon at his studio and academy on the island of Cebu in central Philippines!

I am raising money to help pay for my text books, art supplies, and living expenses. This includes any recurring costs, such as: toiletries, commuting costs, medical, phone, internet, electricity, water, etc.
Anything helps. One US dollar can go a long way in The Philippines, so I will be grateful for any dollar amount granted.
On one side of the token, the cost of living is relatively low. On the other, The Philippines is a poverty-stricken, third-world country. Therefore, it will be very, very difficult (read: impossible) to earn money while I reside and study. This especially pertains to the provinces in which I will reside.
Running out of money in The Philippines is immensely more consequential than being broke at home in the US. I must collect as much money as I can now, and budget accordingly. I have saved enough of my personal money to afford a manageable and 'decent' lifestyle for up to 11-12 months. The duration of my mentorship program exceeds my financial sustainability by several years.
All funds will be used to supplement a plan already set in place. I embark upon this adventure on September 27th, 2017.
Friends, family, strangers, I appreciate all the love and support I have received thus far. Thank you for reading and thank you for your consideration.
