“Will Wong is one of the nicest people I know. Seriously.”
Everyone who has ever met Will Wong.
As many of you may know, Will recently suffered a brain injury while preparing for his amateur fight debut. Thankfully, Will made it to General Hospital in time to pull through.
What do we know about Will Wong? He’s the expert pizza maker. He makes us all drool when he posts his artisanal creations on Facebook, but brings us pizza at the gym—which makes the envy livable in the end. He is the physical therapist in training who will drop everything (even Thai pads) if you’ve hurt yourself, and then carefully and methodically try to assess the problem, giving you better advice than what you’d have to pay for at Kaiser. He’s got the Muay Thai technique most of us would kill for, and he’s gotten there quietly through thousands of hours of hard work and dedication to the sport. Do you know a better pad holder? And if you’re new to Jiu jitsu, Will is the blue belt you want to roll with. The man is the definition of patience. Most all of, he’s our buddy and a part of the the Fnf family.
I don’t feel comfortable writing details about his injury here, so ask around if you want to know more. In the meantime, let’s help him pay his rent this month and the next. If anything, (because I know he won’t want to accept any money) he’ll use the money towards making us all a huge pizza when he’s better.
Finally, I'm making this a private fundraiser so feel free to pass on the link to friends, but don't publicly post it to Facebook. I'm not sure Will would appreciate this, especially since there's been no formal announcement of his injuries on social media.
