One of the OSUMB’s own, Jacqueline Schroeder, was recently hospitalized at the OSU Brain and Spinal Hospital. The doctors are still unsure what is causing her serious neurological symptoms and continue to run tests while she remains in the hospital. As we all know, medical costs can quickly become unaffordable, so we are starting a campaign to raise money for her and her family to help cover the cost of testing and potential future treatments once the condition is diagnosed. Our goal is $10,000 since doctors are running some pretty serious tests and are trying a new but very expensive treatment.   

Checks are also an option and are to be made out to Tau Beta Sigma and sent to the address 1899 College Road, Columbus OH 43210.  We would suggest the previous methods listed as GoFundMe takes a percentage of all proceeds donated, and we would like 100% of the money raised to go to Jacqueline, but we understand this may be an easier option for some, and the ability to share this post makes a larger outreach possible. 

Jacqueline is a great friend to many and has a wonderful sense of humor as well as being a great french horn player. She's a music education major who wishes to spread her love of music to those around her by becoming a future band director. Everyone who is a part of our wonderful band family wants to see her happy and healthy, and we would love if you considered being a part of her road to recovery.
