Osdany Leal / El Niñito Accident

On November 24, 2019, Professional Jockey Osdany Leal was competing in Atlanta, GA in a horse race. Sadly, during the race, the horse collapsed catapulting Osdany forward and the horse rolling over him. Unfortunately, the horse did not survive and barley did Osdany. Osdany was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with major injuries and a fractured spinal cord. He was submitted to surgery today (November 25, 2019) doctors have said that he needs two years of recovery to then begin spinal cord injury physical therapy. Till then he will not be able to race or work. Horse racing for Osdany is more than just a career it was his passion!  He is a great friend, loving husband, and father of two beautiful children.

El 24 de noviembre de 2019, el profesional Jockey Osdany Leal estaba compitiendo en Atlanta, GA, en una carrera de caballos. Tristemente, durante la carrera, el caballo se derrumbó catapultando a Osdany hacia adelante y el caballo rodando sobre él. Desafortunadamente, el caballo no sobrevivió y por nada sobrevivió Osdany. Osdany fue trasladado de urgencia al hospital donde le diagnosticaron lesiones graves y una médula espinal fracturada. Fue sometido a cirugía hoy (25 de noviembre de 2019), los médicos han dicho que necesita dos años de recuperación para luego comenzar la fisioterapia de la lesión de la médula espinal. Hasta entonces no podrá correr ni trabajar. Las carreras de caballos para Osdany es más que una carrera, ¡era su pasión! Es un gran amigo, un esposo amoroso y padre de dos hermosos hijos.
Las oraciones y cualquier contribución serían muy apreciadas para ayudar a esta familia a superar los difíciles años por venir.
