Oscar’s surgery and chemotherapy fundraiser

Donation protected

Oscar is our gorgeous 10 year old Cocker Spaniel. He came to us at 18 months, survived a car accident at age 4, but has just been diagnosed with an incredibly rare extra-medullary plasma tumour in his nose. It is causing difficulty breathing at times and nose bleeds which will become more frequent. The best treatment for him would be surgery and radiotherapy but it would cost way more than our insurance and funds will cover, especially as we are already using it to cover his ongoing ear treatments. So we are opting for the less expensive surgery and chemo which will remove the tumour and hopefully prevent any further spread. Our insurance will cover a small amount of it but after the CT scan last month we are already close to our limit for the year.

Oscar  has a good 4 or 5 years left in him and we want him to be happy and disease free for as much of that as possible. Anyone with a dog knows they are so much more than a pet, and to not do anything to help him is unimaginable.

Our goal is to reach £5000 which will cover surgery at £765 and leave us a fund to cover the monthly chemo treatments at around £165 for the rest of his life. Any little bit of help we can get will be appreciated more than you can know. Thank you for even reading this far!
