Miranda Carver Funeral Fundraiser

Donation protected
Born November 30, 1983, Miranda Jo Carver was always a beacon of light. She had a contagious laugh and an outgoing personality. She was friendly and had a positive impact on everyone she met. You couldn't help but smile being around her. Miranda was fortunate enough to be blessed with four beautiful children: Chase (9), Aliya (6), Alaina (3), and Lincoln (1).

Miranda was diagnosed with AML in June of 2014. Although some people with AML can eventually be cured, Miranda unfortunately had a bad gene mutation that was associated with a higher chance of relapse. With this in mind, it was decided that her best chance of remission was to undergo a bone marrow transplant.

Miranda had her bone marrow transplant in November 2014 and things were looking promising.  However, Miranda relapsed less than a month after her transplant. At the time, our family was given months with our precious girl.

Miranda started on two new chemotherapy drugs that had miraculous results, we thought our prayers had been answered.  The goal was to get her into another remission in order to do yet another bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, Miranda developed a complication called tumor lysis syndrome that results from the excessive amount of neoplastic cells being killed rapidly. It was felt that there was nothing more that we could do for her.

It was Miranda's choice to go home with Hospice on March 12th, 2015 to be with her family and her 4 children. Miranda passed away March 13th at 11:08 in the morning with her immediate family and her 4 children by her side... the day before her youngest son's first birthday. She loved her children with every ounce of her being and I know that is what she cared about the most. If you have been blessed to be a mother, you know there is nothing like a mother's love.

Due to Miranda's medical expenses, there was no money left for a funeral.  Please help us provide the celebration of her life that she deserves.
